Bradley E. Barnhart expressed gratitude for Kelly Bell
Thank you for inviting me to the Kindista community. Even though I wasn't able to make it to the quarterly potluck to learn about it. This reminds me of a small effort we did on a bulletin board outside our bookstore/gift shop in Nauvoo, IL. back in 2001-2005. I entitled it, "Nauvoo Community 'Needs' & 'Services'. People could request a 'need' they might have along with a 'service' they could provide to others...all without any expectation of money. A few of us younger men enjoyed working on the needs of our neighbors, which meant there were more 'services' posted vs. 'needs' in the two sections on the bulletin board. It was a nice way of building community & getting to know neighbors in the town of 1,100 people + 300 temporary seasonal folks.
