The Eugene Avant-Gardeners aim to empower local residents to collectively employ ecologically responsible techniques to transform private and community spaces into gardens which produce food, plants, flowers and natural medicines that allow for enhanced agricultural sovereignty through reciprocal relationships within a network of private landowners, non-landed individuals and affinity groups dedicated to the formation of a collective infrastructure for accessible gardening support, work-trade agreements and educational opportunities.
Being helping hands, heads, and hearts, gardening, permaculture design, hosting work-parties and workshops, gleaning, food security & food preservation, and hopefully the list will just keep getting longer : )
